Dell Inspiron 3670 Desktop

The Dell Inspiron 3670 is a business desktop computer built around an Intel Core i7 9th Gen processor with eight cores reaching 4.7GHz. It ships with 8GB DDR4 memory, a 128GB solid-state drive and a 1TB hard drive. A GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card with 4GB memory handles display output through HDMI and VGA. Windows 10 Home comes pre-installed.

Suited for office multitasking

This configuration suits users who need responsive application launches from the SSD and large local storage on the hard drive. The eight-core processor manages simultaneous business programs without slowdown. Buyers who want more storage or faster graphics for modern gaming titles should look at something else. The installed memory cannot be expanded beyond the 8GB limit.

Straightforward setup with fixed memory

The tower arrives assembled and requires only power, display and peripheral connections. Wireless setup uses the integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi adapters. Memory upgrades are not possible because the board maximum is already populated. Adding further internal drives may be limited by the compact chassis dimensions of 11.61 x 14.71 x 6.3 inches.

Questions about this item

What display cable do I need to connect my existing monitor to the HDMI port on this Dell Inspiron 3670?

Use a standard HDMI cable from your monitor to the HDMI output on the GTX 1050Ti graphics card; the system also provides a VGA port if your screen only accepts that connector.

Will my older USB 2.0 peripherals work with the USB 3.1 and USB 2.0 ports on this desktop?

Yes, USB 2.0 devices are fully compatible with both the USB 3.1 and USB 2.0 ports on the front and rear of the chassis.

How can I verify the GTX 1050Ti is active after I install the latest NVIDIA driver?

Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters, and confirm GeForce GTX 1050Ti appears without a warning icon; the NVIDIA Control Panel will then show the 4 GB dedicated memory.
