Genuine Dell OEM replacement cable

This genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable carries the video signal to the 15.6 inch touchscreen on Inspiron 5565 and 5567 models equipped with an IR camera. It matches Dell part number D8C2T and the alternate numbers listed by the manufacturer. The part is supplied new and exactly as pictured.

Replaces a damaged or faulty original

Install this cable when the existing ribbon has failed due to hinge stress, cracking or connector wear. The jump is worth it when touch input, IR camera function or the display itself becomes unreliable. No other laptop models are supported by this specific part number.

Maintains signal integrity under daily flex

The ribbon is built to the same specification as the factory cable, so it sustains repeated lid open and close cycles without signal degradation. It restores stable video and touch performance for the life of the repair.

Questions about this item

Does this D8C2T ribbon cable fit the 15.6 inch touchscreen panel on a Dell Inspiron 5565?

Yes, it is a genuine Dell OEM video ribbon cable made for the 15.6 inch touchscreen LCD with IR camera on Inspiron 5565 and 5567 models.

What connector orientation should I check before routing the cable through the hinge?

Align the eDP connector and IR camera flex exactly as shown in the product photo; forcing the ribbon the wrong way creases the traces and kills the touchscreen signal.

When should I replace this cable again after installation?

Only if the display develops flicker, dead touch zones, or the IR camera stops working — the ribbon itself has no scheduled service interval.
