16-inch Touchscreen Business Laptop

The Dell Inspiron 5640-7519BLU-PUS is a 16-inch touchscreen laptop built for daily business and personal use. It runs Windows 11 Home on an Intel Core 7 150U processor with ten cores and twelve threads. The system includes 64 GB of DDR5 5200 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drive the 1920 x 1200 display.

Suits mobile professionals.

This configuration suits professionals who need a responsive touchscreen, ample memory and fast storage for multitasking, video calls and document work. The 300-nit WVA panel with ComfortView Plus supports long sessions. Buyers who need a discrete graphics card for rendering, CAD or gaming should look at a different system. The integrated graphics and fixed memory limit those workloads.

64 GB DDR5 5200 memory is soldered

The single specification that decides fit is the 64 GB of DDR5 5200 memory. It is not upgradeable, so the amount you buy is the amount you keep. If your workflow demands more RAM now or later, this unit cannot accommodate it. Verify that 64 GB meets your peak usage before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How loud does the Core 7 150U fan get when the laptop runs all day?

The 10-core processor operates at up to 5.4 GHz inside a 0.64 in thin chassis, so sustained workloads will spin the fan audibly; the 300-nit touchscreen adds minimal heat.

Which peripherals must I already own to use the single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port?

You need a USB-C dock or adapter for legacy USB-A devices, external monitors via HDMI, or wired Ethernet, because the laptop only provides one Type-C, two Type-A, and one HDMI port.

Will my older USB 3.0 flash drives work at full speed on the two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports?

Yes, the two Type-A ports run at USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps), matching the USB 3.0 specification, so existing drives operate at their rated throughput.
