16-inch touchscreen laptop for professionals

The Dell Inspiron 5640 is a 16-inch touchscreen laptop running Windows 10 Pro. It uses an Intel Core 7 150U processor with 10 cores and a 5.4 GHz turbo frequency. Integrated graphics handle the 1920 x 1200 FHD+ display. The system includes 48GB of memory and a 960GB SSD.

Suits office users needing a large touch display

This configuration suits professionals who want a 16-inch touchscreen for productivity and Windows 10 Pro for legacy software compatibility. The 48GB memory supports heavy multitasking. Buyers who need discrete graphics for 3D rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. The 802.11ac wireless may not meet the needs of users requiring the latest Wi-Fi standard.

Check your software and peripheral requirements

Verify that your applications run on Windows 10 Pro before ordering. Confirm that your external displays connect via the available ports on this model. Ensure the 960GB SSD capacity matches your storage needs. The 1.87 kg weight and 19.05 mm height affect portability if you carry the laptop daily.
