Business laptop for hybrid work

The Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 pairs a 14-inch FHD+ touchscreen with an Intel Core 7 150U processor, 16GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Home and Wi-Fi 6 come standard. The convertible chassis supports tent, tablet and laptop modes for flexible use.

Suits mobile professionals needing one device

Workers who rely on discrete graphics, upgradeable memory or multiple high-refresh external monitors should look elsewhere. The soldered 16GB DDR5 cannot be expanded after purchase.

16GB soldered DDR5 decides upgrade path

Memory is fixed at 16GB with no empty slots, so buyers who anticipate heavier multitasking later must choose a different model. The 2TB NVMe SSD remains the only user-replaceable component.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core 7 150U is running at its 5.40 GHz turbo speed after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose CPU and watch the clock speed while a heavy load runs; it should reach 5.40 GHz on the Intel Core 7 150U.

Which ports and accessories are included in the box versus sold separately?

The laptop ships with 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 1.4, 3.5 mm combo jack, SD card reader, non-RGB backlit keyboard and Windows 11 Home; no external mouse, dock or optical drive are included.

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR5 / 2 TB PCIe configuration or the 64 GB DDR5 / up to 2 TB PCIe version for heavy multitasking?

The 64 GB DDR5 model provides four times the memory headroom for running many applications and browser tabs simultaneously, while both versions share the same 2 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 solid-state drive capacity.
