Genuine Dell OEM LCD Flex Cable

This is a genuine Dell OEM replacement ribbon cable for the Inspiron 7000 laptop series. It carries Dell part number 9933E, also referenced as SAM 15.0. The part is designed for models equipped with a 15" XGA Hitachi display panel. It addresses display faults such as lines or spots caused by a damaged flex cable.

Reliable Signal Integrity Under Daily Use

The cable maintains a stable video connection between the motherboard and the LCD panel during continuous operation. It transmits the XGA signal without the intermittent artefacts that appear when the original ribbon fatigues. Replacing a worn cable restores consistent image quality for the working life of the laptop.

Slim Ribbon Design for Internal Routing

The flat ribbon construction fits the tight hinge channel of the Inspiron 7000 chassis. Its connectors match the motherboard and panel sockets exactly, allowing a direct swap without adapters. The part is new and unused, supplying the precise geometry required for the 15.0 inch assembly.

Questions about this item

Does the 15" XGA flex cable draw extra power or generate heat during all-day use?

The cable is a passive ribbon that carries only video signals, so it adds no measurable power draw or heat to the system.

Which existing components must be present in my Inspiron 7000 for this 9933E cable to work?

You need a 15" XGA Hitachi LCD panel and the matching motherboard connector already installed in the laptop.

Will this SAM 15.0 ribbon function correctly if I keep the original 7000-series inverter and backlight assembly?

Yes, the flex cable connects the panel to the motherboard and does not interfere with the existing inverter or backlight hardware.
