Refurbished business laptop

This Dell Latitude 5521 is a refurbished unit graded A for excellent cosmetic condition. It runs on an Intel Core i7-11850H with 8 cores and 24 MB L3 cache, paired with 32 GB of memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate deployment in professional environments. The 15.6-inch FHD non-touch panel delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Integrated graphics share system memory

Intel UHD Graphics handles display output using shared system memory, keeping thermal output and fan noise modest during typical office tasks. The thin-and-light chassis measures 14.09 x 9.17 x 0.89 inches and weighs 3.95 lbs, allowing the cooling system to manage the 2.5 GHz base frequency without aggressive acoustics. Power draw stays aligned with mainstream business usage patterns.

Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.0 expand docking options

A single Thunderbolt 4 port and HDMI 2.0 output support external displays and high-speed peripherals through one compact connector. Two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and one USB 3.2 Type-C port provide legacy and modern device compatibility. The built-in SD card slot, RJ-45 Ethernet and 3.5 mm combo jack complete the I/O set for mobile professionals. Buyers who need discrete GPU performance or additional internal storage bays should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I add a second NVMe drive and which screw size is often missed?

The 5521 has one M.2 slot occupied by the 1 TB NVMe; no second NVMe slot exists, so expansion requires an external Thunderbolt 4 enclosure instead of an internal screw.

Which user-replaceable part will need attention first and what is the access method?

The 32 GB memory is soldered and not replaceable; the only field-replaceable component is the NVMe SSD, reached by removing the bottom cover.

What thermal limit appears first during prolonged heavy workloads on the i7-11850H?

The 8-core Tiger Lake processor shares system memory with Intel UHD Graphics, so sustained loads hit the shared thermal envelope before any discrete GPU limit would.
