Business touch laptop for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 combines a 12.5 inch HD touch display with an Intel Core i7-2640M processor reaching 3.50 GHz. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR3 memory and a 250GB hard drive support multitasking and local storage. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Ready to use with standard ThinkPad docking

The unit arrives assembled and configured, so no internal installation is required. Connect power, attach the docking connector for shared workspaces, and link external monitors via VGA or DisplayPort. The 10/100/1000Mbps LAN and 802.11b/g/n wireless provide network access without extra hardware.

Limited by mechanical storage and legacy OS

The spinning hard drive caps boot and load speeds well below solid-state alternatives. Windows 7 Home Premium no longer receives security updates, restricting safe internet use. Shared video memory and a 1366x768 panel limit graphics-intensive tasks and modern display scaling.
