This lot supplies two DELL KG7NR trays built for 3.5-inch drive bays in PowerEdge R320 servers. Each caddy accepts 2.5-inch SAS or SATA hard drives and carries the 146GB label from the original configuration. The pair lets you populate matching slots in a single service window.

Suits R320 bays; not for 2.5" chassis

These trays fit the 3.5-inch front panel openings of the PowerEdge R320. They will not seat in servers that only provide 2.5-inch drive cages, such as the R610, R620, R630, R710, T710, R720, R815, R820, R730XD or T610. Buyers needing caddies for those narrower bays should look for the 2.5-inch form factor instead.

SAS and SATA drive interface support

The caddy backplane connector is wired for both SAS and SATA protocols, so any 2.5-inch drive using either interface will communicate with the R320 backplane. No other interface types are supported by this tray design.
