Business laptop with quad-core i7

The Dell Latitude 14-7490 is a 14.0-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor running at 1.90GHz with 8MB cache. It comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB SATA solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed on the device.

16GB memory fixed at maximum

The system memory is 16GB DDR4 and the manufacturer lists the maximum supported memory as 16GB, meaning the RAM cannot be upgraded beyond the factory configuration. Buyers who need more memory for virtual machines or large datasets should consider a different platform.

Suits mobile office work, not heavy graphics

This laptop suits professionals who need a compact Windows 10 machine for office applications, web browsing and video calls using the integrated webcam and Intel HD Graphics. It is not for buyers who want a dedicated graphics card, a touchscreen display, a backlit keyboard or user-upgradeable memory.
