Detachable 12.3" 2-in-1 for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 5290 is a 12.3 inch detachable 2-in-1 laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with Intel HD Graphics 620. It comes with 16 GB DDR4 onboard memory and a 256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The FHD touchscreen and included travel keyboard suit workers who need a light secondary device for office tasks and travel.

Verify OS preference and stylus requirement

The supplier notes Windows 10 or Windows 11 can be installed, so confirm the desired version before ordering. The stylus is sold separately; budget for it if pen input is needed. Only Bluetooth 4.2 is specified for wireless connectivity. Ports include USB 3.0 and a pair of USB Type-C ports with DisplayPort functionality plus a headphone jack; check that your peripherals match these interfaces.

Kickstand flexibility and port constraints

An auto-deploy kickstand rotates up to 150 degrees for multiple viewing angles on any flat surface. The 42 Whr battery supports all-day screen use while Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protects the display. Integrated graphics limit the system to light productivity and media playback. Two USB Type-C ports handle video output and data, while a single USB 3.0 port covers legacy accessories.
