14-inch FHD touchscreen ultrabook with quad-core i5, 16 GB DDR4 and 512 GB SSD
Model i5 16GB/512GB W10P Touch
This 14.0-inch Dell Latitude ultrabook combines a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen with an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 2133 memory in a dual-channel 8 GB x 2 configuration and a 512 GB M.2 2242 SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a 65-watt AC adapter is included.
The single drive bay accepts M.2 2242 form-factor SSDs up to 1 TB, so longer 2280 modules will not fit. Some units are Latitude 5400 models with three USB 3.1 ports and an RJ-45 Ethernet port, while others are Latitude 7400 models that replace one USB port with a Thunderbolt 3 port supporting DisplayPort output. HDMI video output is present on both variants.
Both SODIMM slots are occupied by the factory-installed 8 GB modules, leaving zero available slots for easy expansion. The platform supports a maximum of 32 GB, but reaching that limit requires removing the existing modules and installing two 16 GB DDR4 2133 sticks. Buyers who need more than 16 GB of RAM should plan for a complete memory replacement rather than a simple upgrade.

Other versions of this model
You may receive either a Latitude 5400 or 7400 depending on availability; both share the same 14.0" FHD touchscreen, i5-8350U, 16GB DDR4 2133 and 512GB SSD.
The 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U with four cores handles office apps, web browsing and video playback smoothly; 16GB DDR4 2133 keeps multitasking responsive.
The 7400 model includes a Thunderbolt 3 port with DisplayPort; the 5400 offers USB 3.1 Type-C without Thunderbolt. Both have HDMI for a second screen.
