14-inch ultrabook with quad-core i5, 8 GB DDR4, 512 GB SSD and Windows 11 Pro
Model i5 8GB/512GB W11P
This Dell Latitude 7400 5400 ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and a 65-watt AC adapter. The 14.0-inch FHD panel runs at 1920 x 1080 without touch input. An 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor and 8 GB of DDR4 2133 memory handle office workloads and web browsing. A 512 GB M.2 2242 SSD provides the boot drive and primary storage.
Two SODIMM slots are populated with 4 GB modules, leaving zero free slots for later expansion. The platform supports up to 32 GB total, so any upgrade requires replacing both sticks. Thunderbolt 3 on the 7400 variant uses a USB-C connector that also carries DisplayPort video; the 5400 variant omits this port. Verify the exact model before counting on that connection.
Storage Spec lists one drive bay with a 1 TB ceiling for M.2 2242 SSDs, so buyers who want more storage cannot add a second internal drive. The 7400 offers two USB 3.1 ports plus Thunderbolt 3, while the 5400 provides three USB 3.1 ports and no Thunderbolt. Neither model includes an RJ-45 Ethernet jack, so wired networking requires a dongle.

Open Settings > System > Display and verify the resolution reads 1920 x 1080; the Intel UHD Graphics control panel will also report the active resolution.
The OEM 65-watt AC adapter is included in the box; no separate charger purchase is required.
