Purpose-built mobile workstation

The Latitude 5450 is a 14.0-inch business laptop driven by an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor with 12 cores and a 4.8 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets professionals who need reliable performance for office applications, video calls and light content creation on the move.

Integrated essentials

A 512 GB solid-state drive and 8 GB of system memory come pre-installed, removing the need for immediate storage or RAM upgrades. The 1920 x 1080 non-touch display includes an integrated webcam, while 802.11ac wireless LAN and Bluetooth handle connectivity without extra dongles.

Ready-to-deploy setup

Windows 11 Pro is preloaded so the device reaches a working desktop after the initial out-of-box experience. The integrated graphics share system memory, so heavy 3D workloads or multi-monitor arrays beyond the built-in panel will run into headroom limits. Buyers who want more storage or discrete GPU power should plan a different configuration.

Questions about this item

Is the 8 GB memory soldered or can I add a SO-DIMM later?

The 8 GB module is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded.

Will the Core Ultra 7 155U throttle when all 12 cores run at 4.8 GHz for long periods?

Sustained loads push the 15 W base power limit first, so clocks drop below 4.8 GHz to stay within thermal constraints.

How loud do the fans get and how hot does the chassis feel during an all-day workload?

Under continuous load the fans spin up to an audible level and the keyboard deck warms noticeably, though surface temperatures stay within normal laptop limits.
