Questions about this item

What real-world speed does the 1.60GHz i5-8250U deliver in this chassis?

The quad-core i5-8250U runs at a 1.60GHz base clock and boosts under load, giving responsive performance for office applications, web browsing and light multitasking on the 14.0" platform.

Does the 256GB SSD use the SATA interface and what throughput does that limit it to?

The drive is a SATA M.2 256GB SSD, so it operates over the SATA bus and provides much faster boot and load times than a mechanical hard drive.

What physical slot and module type does the 8GB of memory occupy?

The 8GB is a single SODIMM DDR4 stick installed in one of the laptop's two memory slots, leaving the second slot free for a future upgrade.
