Business-ready 14-inch FHD laptop

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a thin-and-light notebook built for mobile professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro device. It combines a 14.0-inch non-touch display with a backlit keyboard and integrated webcam for daily productivity and video calls.

16 GB memory and 256 GB SSD headroom

The 16 GB of system memory keeps multiple business applications and browser tabs responsive, while the 256 GB solid-state drive provides fast boot and load times. Storage-intensive media libraries or large local databases will exceed the available capacity.

HDMI output and integrated graphics fit

A single HDMI port lets you connect an external monitor or projector without adapters, and Intel HD Graphics 620 handles standard office visuals and video playback. The integrated GPU and fixed memory mean the system is not suited for demanding 3D rendering or modern gaming workloads.

Questions about this item

Will my existing HDMI monitor work with the 1 x HDMI port on this Latitude 5490?

Yes, the single HDMI port supports standard external displays so your current monitor will connect directly without an adapter.

How can I confirm the Intel Core i5-7300U is running at its 2.6 GHz base speed after setup?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or run a CPU-Z check; both will show the processor operating at 2.6 GHz under normal load.

Does the box include the AC adapter or do I need to buy one separately?

A compatible AC adapter is included — either a new third-party unit or an OEM used adapter — so no separate purchase is required.
