Dell Latitude 5490 14" FHD Business Laptop

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14-inch business laptop with a Full HD non-touch display. It runs on an Intel Core i5-8250U quad-core processor with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 16GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed on this new device.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy ports.

This unit suits professionals who need native VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort over Type-C, RJ-45 and an SD card reader for peripheral connectivity. The integrated graphics card cannot handle 3D rendering, video editing or modern gaming workloads. Buyers requiring discrete graphics performance should consider a different configuration.

The Intel Core i5-8250U provides four cores and a 3.40 GHz maximum turbo frequency for everyday office multitasking. Combined with 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, this specification determines whether the laptop meets your performance baseline for business applications.
