Business laptop for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for business users who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine on the move. An Intel Core i5-8350U processor running at 1.7 GHz works with 8 GB of memory to handle office applications and web workflows. The 500 GB hard drive provides local storage for documents and media. Wireless networking and a webcam support remote collaboration.

Steady performance for daily workloads

The dual-core processor maintains consistent speeds during extended document editing, spreadsheet calculation and video calls without thermal throttling. Eight gigabytes of RAM keeps multiple browser tabs and business programs responsive throughout the working day. The mechanical hard drive delivers sustained sequential throughput for large file saves and backups. Windows 10 Pro manages background tasks efficiently to preserve system responsiveness over long sessions.

Durable chassis with essential connectivity

The Latitude 5490 chassis meets business-grade durability standards for daily transport and desk docking. A functional battery and included AC adapter enable full-day operation away from a power outlet. Cosmetic rejuvenation removes most wear while subtle signs of previous use may remain.
