Built for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14.0 inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor running at 1.7 GHz with 6MB cache. It comes with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD for fast storage access. The 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handle everyday business visuals. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Durable chassis with versatile ports

A slim black design uses durable construction suited for frequent travel and client meetings. Connectivity includes three USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port, one VGA port, and one USB-C port that also carries DisplayPort signalling. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11n or better wireless provide reliable network access. An integrated webcam supports video conferencing without extra peripherals.

Integrated graphics set practical limits

The Intel UHD Graphics 620 engine shares system memory and is designed for office applications, web browsing and video playback rather than intensive 3D workloads. The 15 W processor thermal design helps extend battery runtime during mobile use. Buyers who need discrete GPU performance for rendering or gaming should consider alternative configurations.
