Ready-to-work mobile workstation

The DELL Latitude 5511 ships new with Windows 10 Pro, a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10850H six-core processor reaching 5.10 GHz, 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB nVME SSD. The 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS panel is non-touch, anti-glare and rated at 220 nits with a 45% colour gamut. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics uses shared video memory. This configuration targets professionals who need immediate productivity without further upgrades.

Ports and expansion for desk or field

A single USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port delivers Power Delivery, DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 3 for docks or external monitors. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one with Powershare, plus HDMI 2.0 and RJ45 cover legacy peripherals and wired networks. An SD reader, universal audio jack, wedge lock slot and 7.4 mm barrel DC-in complete the physical interface. Wi-Fi 6 and optional LTE with eSIM keep connectivity flexible when away from a desk.

Pre-installed software and warranty coverage

Windows 10 Pro is factory-installed so the system boots straight to a managed desktop environment. The manufacturer warranty runs until August 2023, covering hardware defects during that period. No additional recovery media or proprietary management suites are mentioned in the supplied data. Buyers who need a discrete GPU, a touchscreen or a larger colour gamut should look at other models.

Questions about this item

How long does the 2.7 GHz i7-10850H run before thermal limits reduce its 5.10 GHz turbo under sustained load?

The 6-core processor operates at a base of 2.7 GHz and can reach 5.10 GHz with turbo; sustained performance depends on the laptop's cooling design and workload intensity.

What are the noise and heat levels when the 15.6-inch FHD display and Intel UHD Graphics run all day?

The anti-glare IPS panel runs at 220 nits with 45% colour gamut; integrated graphics share system memory, keeping heat lower than discrete GPUs, though fan noise will vary with CPU load.

Which operating system and memory standard must already be in place for the 32 GB DDR4 and 1 TB nVME to function?

Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed and the system uses DDR4 SODIMM memory; no additional OS licence or memory modules are required for the supplied configuration.
