Purpose-built mobile workstation

The Dell Latitude 5520 is a 15.6-inch laptop built around an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor with four cores reaching 4.70 GHz turbo. It ships with 64GB of memory and a 512GB SSD, running Windows 11 Pro out of the box. The non-touch FHD panel resolves at 1920 x 1080 and relies on integrated graphics.

Thermals and power in daily use

The chassis measures 0.78 inches high, 14.09 inches wide and 9.19 inches deep, weighing 3.50 lb. Integrated graphics and the 11th Gen CPU keep heat output modest during typical office workloads. Fan noise stays low for spreadsheet, browser and video-call tasks. The 4.7 GHz turbo engages only under sustained load.

Ports and software ecosystem

Two Thunderbolt ports with Power Delivery and DisplayPort alternate mode drive external displays and charge the system through a single cable. HDMI 2.0, USB 3.2, a uSD 4.0 card reader and RJ45 cover legacy and wired needs. Windows 11 Pro enables BitLocker, Remote Desktop and Azure AD join for managed deployments.
