Business mobility

The Dell Latitude 7290 is a 12.5-inch laptop built for professionals who need a compact Windows 10 device. An Intel Core i7-8650U processor and 32GB DDR4 memory handle office workloads and multitasking. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1366 x 768 HD display. A 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD provides fast storage access.

Suited users and limits

This system suits mobile workers who value a lightweight chassis, Thunderbolt 3 connectivity and HDMI output for presentations. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a higher-resolution panel or discrete graphics should look at something else. The 256GB drive may feel restrictive for large media libraries or virtual machines. Non-upgradeable memory caps future expansion at 32GB.

Included items and software

The package supplies the laptop, a charger and the installed battery so the unit is ready to deploy. Windows 10 Home is pre-loaded and eligible for a Windows 11 Pro upgrade. Thunderbolt 3 over USB-C enables docking, external storage and additional displays through a single port. Bluetooth 4.2 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi handle wireless peripherals and network access.
