Compact 12.5 laptop with Intel Core i7-8650U

The Dell Latitude 7290 is a 12.5-inch business laptop powered by a quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.9 GHz. It comes with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB M.2 SATA SSD for storage. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1366 x 768 HD display. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed.

Suits mobile professionals needing core ports

This unit fits users who value a compact chassis with HDMI output, a Thunderbolt USB-C port, Gigabit Ethernet and a microSD card reader for client presentations. The non-touch screen and 8 GB memory ceiling make it less suitable for buyers who want more memory capacity or a touchscreen workflow.

1 TB M.2 SATA SSD decides storage speed

The installed 1 TB M.2 drive uses the SATA protocol, which determines the maximum sequential transfer rate for the system. Buyers needing a different storage interface should verify compatibility before purchasing.
