12.5-inch HD business laptop

This Dell Latitude 7290 delivers a quad-core Intel Core i7 8650U processor at 1.90GHz with 16GB memory and a 256GB SSD. It ships new with Windows 11 Pro, a 1366 x 768 non-touch display, webcam, Thunderbolt, HDMI, LAN, USB and SD card reader. Bluetooth and 802.11b/g/n wireless are included. Dimensions are 13 x 8.7 x .7 inches.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy ports

The compact chassis combines Thunderbolt with full-size HDMI, LAN and USB-A ports, useful for docked desk work and meeting-room presentations. Buyers who want a higher-resolution panel, touch input or a larger screen should look at something else. The 12.5-inch form factor also limits keyboard spacing for extended typing sessions.

Quad-core i7 8650U at 1.90GHz

This processor provides four cores and eight threads at a base frequency of 1.90GHz, defining the performance ceiling for office applications, video calls and light multitasking. The 16GB memory and 256GB SSD support the CPU but cannot compensate for its generation-level limits in sustained heavy workloads.
