Compact business notebook

The Dell Latitude 7290 is a 12.5-inch laptop built around an 8th-generation quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory in a dual-channel configuration and a 1 TB PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed.

Suits frequent travellers; not for creative pros

This configuration serves mobile professionals who need a lightweight chassis, all-day battery potential and enough RAM for heavy multitasking, spreadsheets and video calls. Buyers who require a higher-resolution display, discrete graphics for 3D work or a touchscreen for inking should consider other form factors.

Screen resolution is the deciding spec

The panel delivers 1366 x 768 pixels in a standard HD format, which determines how much on-screen information fits at once and whether text renders sharply enough for your workflow. If that pixel density meets your daily needs, the processor, memory and storage combination will keep pace with typical business workloads.
