DELL Latitude 7390 13.3" FHD Touchscreen Ultrabook

This 13.3 inch ultrabook ships new with Windows 11 Pro installed. An 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor runs at 1.7 GHz up to 3.6 GHz with Intel UHD Graphics 620. It includes 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 128 GB NVMe M.2 SSD. A Full HD 1920 x 1080 touchscreen and spill-resistant keyboard complete the core specification.

Mobile professionals needing pen input

The 3.11 lb chassis supports touch and optional active pen for notetaking. Buyers who need more than 128 GB of internal storage or discrete graphics performance should look at other configurations. The integrated GPU handles office workloads and video playback but is not suited to 3D rendering or modern gaming. Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi provide standard wireless connectivity.

128 GB NVMe M.2 SSD capacity

The single M.2 slot holds a 128 GB NVMe drive that determines available space for the operating system and applications. Users with large local file libraries will require external storage or a larger drive replacement. Memory is fixed at 16 GB DDR4 with no upgrade path mentioned in the specifications.

Questions about this item

How hot and loud does the i5-8350U get when the 13.3" FHD touchscreen runs all day?

The quad-core i5-8350U operates at 1.7 GHz base and 3.6 GHz turbo within a 13.3" ultrabook chassis weighing 3.11 lbs. Integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics share the same thermal envelope, so sustained loads stay within the thin-and-light design limits.

Which ports and wireless standards are built in so I know what cables or docks I already need?

Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 with DisplayPort alt-mode, HDMI, headphone/mic combo jack, plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 combo.

Will my existing DDR4 SODIMM modules or M.2 NVMe drives work alongside the 16 GB and 128 GB already installed?

The system ships with 16 GB DDR4 soldered and a 128 GB M.2 NVMe SSD; the platform supports up to 32 GB DDR4 total and larger NVMe drives if you replace the original module.
