Professional ultrabook

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop built for mobile professionals who need a responsive Windows 10 Pro device. Its quad-core Intel Core i5-8350U processor reaches 3.6 GHz with Turbo Boost, while 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB NVMe SSD handle daily office workloads. The compact chassis weighs 3.11 lbs for easy transport.

Durable connectivity

Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protects the narrow-bezel display against scratches and the spill-resistant keyboard guards against accidents. A USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 port with DisplayPort output, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (one PowerShare), HDMI and a headset jack cover peripherals and external monitors. Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi handle wireless accessories and network access.

Storage capacity limit

The fixed 128 GB NVMe drive fills quickly with large media libraries or virtual machines, so buyers who need more local space should consider external storage or a different model. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 suits productivity and video playback but not demanding 3D applications. The 8 GB DDR4 configuration is not user-expandable beyond the factory specification.

Questions about this item

What USB-C standard does the Latitude 7390 use, and what does it limit?

The USB-C port runs at USB 3.1 Gen 1 speeds and also carries DisplayPort video, so external monitors are capped at that bandwidth.

What are the chassis dimensions and weight for a sleeve or bag?

The ultrabook weighs 3.11 lbs and has a 13.3 inch screen, so a sleeve sized for a 13 inch thin-and-light chassis will fit.

How is the M.2 NVMe SSD installed, and what step is often missed?

Remove the bottom cover, insert the M.2 2280 drive at an angle, then secure it with the single retention screw; people often forget the screw and the drive lifts.
