Business travel laptop

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3-inch touchscreen ultraportable running Windows 10 Pro. An Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor at 1.7 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory handles office workloads and video calls. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 FHD panel and an external display via HDMI. A 256 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD provides the system drive.

Mobile professionals, not creators

This configuration suits consultants and sales staff who need a light 13-inch chassis, pen-capable touch input, and all-day battery efficiency from the low-power U-series chip. Buyers who need discrete graphics for rendering, more than 16 GB of memory for virtual machines, or a larger screen for multitasking should look elsewhere. The integrated GPU and soldered RAM limit heavy creative or development tasks.

256 GB NVMe system drive

The single M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD offers 256 GB of boot and application storage with PCIe transfer speeds. No second drive bay is present, so capacity cannot be expanded internally. Users with large local media libraries or multiple virtual-machine images will need external storage or a different model. The existing drive is adequate for typical business document sets and cloud-synced workflows.

Questions about this item

Is the 16 GB DDR4 memory soldered or can I upgrade it later?

The 16 GB DDR4 is soldered to the mainboard and cannot be increased; only the M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD is replaceable.

What limits performance first when the Intel Core i5-8350U runs at 100 % for long periods?

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares the same thermal budget, so sustained GPU plus CPU load hits the cooling limit before either component reaches its own ceiling.

How loud and hot does the 13.3" touchscreen unit get during an all-day workload?

Fan noise stays low at idle and rises to a moderate hum under load; surface temperatures stay comfortable for lap use because the 1.7 GHz quad-core chip and integrated graphics share a compact vapour-chamber cooler.
