Convertible 2-in-1 for Mobile Professionals

The Dell Latitude 7390 is a 13.3 inch convertible notebook built for professionals who need a portable device with touch input. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U processor with a base speed of 1.7 GHz and a turbo frequency of 3.6 GHz. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles the 1920 x 1080 Full HD display.

Suited for Touch and Pen Workflows Not for Heavy

This device suits users who value the flexibility of a flip design for note taking with an optional active pen enabled by Wacom technology. It also supports Windows Hello via an optional infrared camera for facial recognition. Buyers who require discrete graphics performance for demanding creative applications or gaming should consider a different system.

Soldered 8 GB DDR4 Memory Limits Upgrades

The system ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory soldered to the motherboard so the capacity cannot be increased after purchase. Storage is provided by a 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 4.2, USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 with DisplayPort, HDMI and a headphone jack.

Questions about this item

How do I install the optional active pen for Windows Ink on the Latitude 7390 2-in-1?

Pair the Wacom-enabled pen via Bluetooth 4.2 in Windows 10 Pro settings, then attach it magnetically to the side of the 13.3 inch chassis for charging and storage.

Which component will need replacement first on the Latitude 7390 2-in-1?

The 8 GB DDR4 RAM is onboard and cannot be upgraded; the 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD is the only user-replaceable part and will likely need swapping before the soldered memory fails.

What limits sustained performance on the Latitude 7390 2-in-1 during long workloads?

The Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor shares thermal headroom with the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620, so extended heavy loads reduce clocks from the 3.6 GHz turbo toward the 1.7 GHz base.
