2019 Dell Latitude 7400 14" Business Laptop

The Dell Latitude 7400 is a 14 inch business laptop released in 2019. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8665U quad-core processor with a 4.80 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 32GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. A 1920 x 1080 FHD touchscreen and integrated graphics complete the core specification.

Suits Mobile Professionals; Not for Heavy GPU Work

This configuration suits mobile professionals who need a light 1.36 kg chassis, long battery life and vPro manageability for fleet deployment. The 32GB RAM supports heavy multitasking and virtual machines. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for rendering, CAD or gaming should look at a workstation or gaming laptop instead.

Thunderbolt 3 Port with Power Delivery

The single specification that decides fit is the Thunderbolt 3 port with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. It provides 40 Gbps bandwidth, charges the laptop and drives external displays through one cable. If your dock, monitor or eGPU requires this exact interface, the Latitude 7400 matches; if you only have USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 devices, the port still works but the extra bandwidth and charging go unused.
