Dell Latitude 7420 business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7420 is a 14.0 inch business laptop with a touch-enabled FHD display running Windows 11 Pro. It ships with 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. The Intel Core i5 11th Gen processor provides a minimum speed of 2.40GHz alongside Intel Iris Xe Graphics for everyday productivity tasks.

Upgrade from older Latitude or non-touch models

This unit replaces earlier Latitude models that lack touch input or solid-state storage of this capacity. The jump is worth it when your workflow benefits from direct screen interaction and fast boot times from the 1TB drive. Buyers who need a second card or more storage slots should look elsewhere as memory slots total zero and no HDD bay is present.

Sustained workload behaviour

Under continuous load the Intel Core i5 11th Gen maintains its 2.40GHz base frequency while Intel Iris Xe Graphics handles integrated visual output. The 16GB memory supports multitasking across business applications without paging to the SSD. Thermal management is designed for the thin chassis during extended office sessions.
