Compact business laptop with touchscreen

The Dell Latitude 7420 is a 14.0 inch touchscreen laptop built for mobile professionals. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7 1185G7 processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 FHD display. Thunderbolt 4, HDMI and Bluetooth 5.1 handle connectivity in a carbon fibre chassis graded B for cosmetic condition.

Suited to office work on the move.

This device suits users who need a lightweight, secure Windows machine with ample fast storage and a responsive touch display for presentations or annotation. Buyers who require a discrete graphics card, user-upgradeable memory, a larger screen diagonal, or a flawless exterior finish should consider other options. The fixed 16GB configuration also rules out future RAM expansion.

16GB soldered memory decides upgrade path

The single specification that determines suitability is the 16GB DDR4 capacity, which is not user-replaceable. If your workload demands more memory now or later, this laptop cannot meet that need. For workflows that fit within 16GB, the quad-core i7, 2TB NVMe SSD and Thunderbolt 4 ports deliver strong performance in a compact 14 inch form factor.
