Hall sensor board for Dell Latitude 7320 and 7420 display assembly, part number 2F7GJ
This is a genuine Dell OEM Hall switch sensor circuit board for the Latitude 7320 and 7420 laptops. It sits inside the display assembly and detects the lid position to control sleep and wake functions. Buyers repairing a faulty lid sensor on these models will receive the exact part pictured.
The board carries Dell part number 2F7GJ with alternate numbers GDC50 and LS-K37AP. It fits only the Latitude 7320 and Latitude 7420; any other laptop model will not accept this part.
The Hall switch operates without a fan or active cooling and adds no audible noise. Its power draw is minimal and has no measurable impact on battery life during normal use.

The board detects the magnetic field from the lid magnet and signals the system to turn the display on or off when the laptop is opened or closed.
The board plugs directly into the display-cable connector on the screen assembly; no separate interface standard is exposed to the user.
It fits the original cut-out in the Latitude 7320 and 7420 lid and secures with the existing screw holes shown in the product photos.
