Product Identity

The Unique-Bargains 10K NTC Thermistor Probe is a temperature sensing component with an XH2.54-2P connector and a 78.7 inch epoxy sensor head. It is designed for integration into systems requiring remote temperature monitoring.

Suitability

This probe suits technicians repairing or maintaining air conditioning units and engineers building thermally sensitive control circuits. It is not for installers who need a different resistance curve, a threaded metal housing, or a connector type other than XH2.54-2P.

Critical Specification

The measuring range of -30°C to +105°C decides whether this sensor survives the application environment. Verify that the target system never exceeds these limits before installation.

Questions about this item

What resistance value should I select for my air-conditioner control board?

The probe is a 10 K ohm NTC thermistor, matching the standard input expected by most HVAC controllers.

How does the -30 °C to 105 °C range translate to real-world HVAC use?

It covers normal evaporator icing conditions up to compressor discharge temperatures, so the sensor stays accurate across the full operating envelope.

What does the XH2.54-2P connector limit in practice?

The 2.54 mm pitch two-pin plug fits standard XH headers on controller boards and carries only the two thermistor leads, so no extra signalling lines are possible.
