14-inch touchscreen laptop for professionals

The Dell Latitude 7455 is a 14.0-inch touchscreen laptop built for professionals who need performance and security on the move. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 processor with 12 cores reaching 4.0 GHz. The system includes 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 512GB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed in an aluminium Titan Gray chassis.

Integrated memory and storage simplify the build

Because the 32GB of LPDDR5X memory is soldered to the board, there are no SO-DIMM slots to populate or upgrade later. The 512GB NVMe drive occupies the primary storage slot, leaving no second drive bay for expansion. This design removes the need to select compatible memory kits or additional storage caddies during assembly. The integrated fingerprint reader handles biometric login without extra peripherals.

Suits mobile workers needing a secure.

This laptop suits buyers who value shock and vibration tolerance, a Full HD webcam, and comprehensive wireless connectivity in a premium aluminium body. It is not for buyers who want more storage than 512GB or the ability to add a second drive. It is not for users who need user-replaceable memory modules or a discrete graphics processor. Buyers requiring legacy port arrays should look at something else.

Questions about this item

Does the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 throttle when all 12 cores run at 4.0 GHz for long periods?

The 12-core Snapdragon X Elite is rated to 4.0 GHz; sustained all-core workloads will hit thermal limits first, so clock speeds drop to stay within the laptop's cooling capacity.

How loud and hot does the Dell Latitude 7455 get during an all-day workload?

Under continuous load the chassis warms noticeably and the fan spins up to an audible level, but it remains within the thermal envelope designed for the 14.0" aluminum body.

Which peripherals or accounts must I already have to start using this Latitude 7455?

Only a Microsoft account for Windows 11 Pro setup is required; the 32 GB LPDDR5X, 512 GB NVMe drive, touchscreen and fingerprint reader are all built in.
