14-inch business laptop with Core i7-6600U

The Dell Latitude 7480 is a 14-inch laptop powered by a dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U processor running at 2.6 GHz. It comes with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display is non-touch and the system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles visual output.

Check ports power and OS needs

Verify that the single HDMI port and Thunderbolt 3 USB-C connection match your external display or docking requirements. The machine includes three USB 3.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet, a microSD card reader and a webcam. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2. No optical drive is fitted so software must be installed via USB or network. Ensure Windows 11 Pro meets your licensing and application compatibility needs.

Suits mobile professionals not gamers

This Latitude suits professionals who need a lightweight 14-inch chassis with Thunderbolt 3 expandability and all-day battery potential for travel and client meetings. Buyers who want a dedicated graphics card for gaming or intensive 3D work should look elsewhere. The 256 GB drive may limit users with large local media libraries. The 6th-generation processor will not satisfy workloads that demand current-generation instruction sets or higher core counts.
