Compact business laptop for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7480 is a 14.0 inch Windows 10 notebook built around a dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U processor running at 2.6 GHz. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD for responsive multitasking and fast storage access. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch FHD display.

Suits travellers needing legacy ports

This unit fits users who rely on HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 3.0 ports and a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C connection for docks or external drives. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a discrete graphics card, more than two CPU cores or a newer Windows version out of the box should look elsewhere.

Deciding spec: dual-core 6th generation i7

The processor architecture limits heavy multi-threaded workloads, while the single Thunderbolt 3 port provides high-speed expansion for compatible peripherals. If your workflow demands more cores or lacks Thunderbolt 3 accessories, this configuration will not match those requirements.
