Dell Latitude 7480 business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7480 is a 14.0 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U processor running at 2.60GHz. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD for fast storage access. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display provides clear visuals for daily productivity tasks. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and ready to use.

Suits mobile professionals needing core ports

This unit suits professionals who travel or meet clients and rely on HDMI for external displays plus a single Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port for docks or peripherals. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles standard office applications and video playback without discrete graphics overhead. Buyers who need more than 8GB of memory or a dedicated GPU for heavy creative workloads should look at a different configuration.

8GB soldered memory limits future upgrades

The single specification that decides fit is the 8GB DDR4 memory capacity, which cannot be expanded beyond the factory configuration. If your workflow regularly exceeds this limit, the laptop will throttle performance regardless of processor speed or SSD capacity. Confirm that 8GB meets your current and near-term requirements before purchasing.
