Business travel laptop with Thunderbolt 3

The Dell Latitude 7480 is a 14.0 inch Full HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor running at 2.6 GHz. It comes with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB SATA M.2 SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. The system runs Windows 10 Pro and includes HDMI, Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, a microSD card reader and a webcam.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy OS

This unit fits users who require Windows 10 Pro for application compatibility and a mix of modern and legacy ports including Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI for external displays. The 32GB memory supports heavy multitasking. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a dedicated graphics card, a larger screen or a newer Windows version should look elsewhere. The Grade B LCD and cosmetic wear also make it unsuitable for anyone expecting pristine condition.

Thunderbolt 3 port enables dock

The single Thunderbolt 3 USB-C connection provides high-speed data transfer and video output for docking stations or external GPUs. This port is the key specification that determines whether the laptop fits a workflow built around Thunderbolt accessories. Without a need for that specific interface, the 6th generation processor and SATA SSD may limit performance for modern workloads.
