This unit suits professionals who need a lightweight 14-inch laptop for office applications, web browsing and video calls on Windows 10 Pro. The 128GB SSD offers fast boot times for daily workflows. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card for rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. Users requiring a touchscreen or larger storage capacity out of the box will not find those features here.

Verify your software and peripheral needs before

Confirm that your essential applications run on Windows 10 Pro and the Intel HD Graphics 620 integrated GPU. The laptop includes Bluetooth for wireless accessories. Check that the two memory slots meet any future upgrade plans you have. The cosmetic condition shows moderate scratches or scuffs on the bezel and casing, with possible minor cracks and up to two screen imperfections.

Questions about this item

Will the 8 GB of memory already installed leave a free slot for an upgrade?

The laptop has two memory slots in total with 8 GB already installed, so one slot remains available for adding more RAM.

Can I keep using my existing USB Type-A peripherals with the ports on this Latitude 7490?

Yes, the built-in USB ports accept standard Type-A connectors, so current keyboards, mice and flash drives will work without adapters.

How can I confirm the 128 GB SSD is recognised at its full capacity after first boot?

Open File Explorer, right-click the C: drive and choose Properties; the reported capacity should read between 120 GB and 128 GB as specified.
