Dell Latitude 7490 14.0" Touchscreen

This laptop combines a 14.0 inch Full HD touchscreen with an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 128GB M.2 SATA SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes HDMI, USB Type-C with PowerShare, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity.

Mobile professionals needing touch input

The convertible touchscreen suits presenters and field staff who annotate documents or navigate apps by hand. The HDMI output and USB-A ports support projectors and older peripherals without adapters. Buyers who want more storage capacity or a discrete graphics card for intensive 3D work should look at something else.

128GB M.2 SATA SSD capacity

The installed drive uses the SATA protocol on an M.2 form factor, offering solid-state reliability but lower sequential throughput than PCIe alternatives. This size holds the operating system and core applications, yet large media libraries or virtual machines will require external or cloud storage.
