Business-Ready Ultraportable

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0-inch laptop built for professionals who need a compact Windows 10 Pro machine. It runs on an Intel Core i5 8th Gen 1.60 GHz processor with 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 128 GB SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display using shared system memory. Bluetooth 4.1 and a full-size backlit keyboard complete the core feature set.

Ideal for Mobile Office Work

This configuration suits users who prioritise portability and battery life for document editing, email and web-based applications. The 128 GB SSD offers fast boot times but limited local storage for large media libraries or creative project files. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics processor for rendering, gaming or multi-monitor 4K output should look at something else. The two memory slots allow an upgrade path to 32 GB maximum supported RAM if workloads grow.

128 GB SSD Decides Fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 128 GB solid-state drive capacity. It provides responsive system performance for the operating system and essential business software. Users with extensive offline file archives, virtual machines or raw photo and video footage will find the space restrictive without external storage. If the workload fits within this footprint, the Latitude 7490 delivers a balanced mobile experience.
