Latitude 7490 for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0" laptop built around a quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory. It runs Windows 10 Pro and stores the operating system on a 128GB M.2 SATA SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display. This configuration suits professionals who need reliable performance for office applications and video calls while travelling.

Durable chassis with versatile ports

The black chassis is described as very slim with durable construction for frequent transport. Three USB 3.0 ports handle standard peripherals, while a single USB Type-C port provides Thunderbolt 3 connectivity for docks or high-speed storage. An HDMI output connects directly to projectors or external displays in meeting rooms. Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 cover wired and wireless networking. A microSD card reader adds a convenient way to offload photos or documents on the go.

Charger and battery included

The package supplies the laptop, a charger and the installed battery so the system is ready to use immediately. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, providing business features such as BitLocker and Remote Desktop without additional setup. The 720p webcam supports video conferencing out of the box. Buyers who need more internal storage or a discrete graphics engine for intensive creative work should look at alternative configurations.
