Ready-to-work Latitude 7490

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14-inch business laptop built for professionals who need a portable Windows 10 Pro machine with a responsive touchscreen. Its quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor and 16GB of DDR4 memory handle office applications and multitasking without delay. The 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD provides fast boot and load times for daily workflows.

Simple setup with integrated graphics

Power on, sign in to Windows 10 Pro, and the system is ready — no hardware assembly or driver hunting required. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 Full HD touch panel and external displays via HDMI or USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 without a discrete GPU. Buyers who need dedicated graphics performance for rendering or gaming should look elsewhere.

Quad-core i7-8650U defines the performance tier

The 1.9GHz Intel Core i7-8650U with four cores, eight threads and 8MB cache sets the ceiling for what this laptop can do. It suits general productivity, video calls and light content creation, but it is not a workstation-class processor. Buyers who want more compute power for heavy compilation or simulation will need a higher-tier CPU.
