Latitude 7490 14" touchscreen

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0" Full HD touchscreen laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor. It comes with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 128GB M.2 SATA SSD running Windows 10 Pro. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 display for everyday productivity.

Build fit and connectivity

Three USB 3.0 ports and a USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 PowerShare port handle peripherals and charging. An HDMI output connects to external displays or projectors for meetings. Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 provide wired and wireless networking. A microSD card reader adds removable storage without using a USB slot.

Sustained load behaviour

The 15W processor maintains clock speeds during extended workloads thanks to the slim thermal design. Integrated graphics share system memory, so the 32GB DDR4 pool supports both compute and video tasks. The M.2 SATA SSD delivers consistent read and write performance without thermal throttling during long file transfers.
