Mobile Workstation for Business Users

The Dell Latitude 7490 7000 series is a 14.0" ultrabook built for professionals who need reliable performance on the move. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with a base speed of 1.7 GHz and up to 3.6 GHz. The system includes 16 GB of DDR4 memory and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 for everyday visual tasks.

Suited for Office Productivity Not Heavy Creative

This configuration suits office workers, students and remote staff who prioritise a light chassis, a sharp 1920 x 1080 IPS display and fast solid-state storage. Buyers who want more storage capacity or discrete graphics for video editing, 3D rendering or modern gaming should look at larger mobile workstations. The non-touch screen and integrated GPU also limit its appeal for digital artists or engineers needing certified drivers.

Storage Capacity Decides Fit

The single 1 TB SSD provides ample space for operating system, applications and large document libraries without relying on external drives. If your workflow demands multiple terabytes of local project files or a secondary drive for backups, this laptop does not meet that requirement.
