14-inch business ultrabook

The Dell Latitude 7490 7000 series is a 14.0-inch Full HD laptop built for mobile professionals. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD. The IPS panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution without touch input. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output.

Straightforward setup with port checks

The system arrives with Windows 11 Pro installed, so initial configuration follows the standard out-of-box experience. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth 4.1, HDMI, three USB 3.1 Gen1 ports and one USB Type-C port with DisplayPort alternate mode. Verify that your peripherals match the available USB-A and USB-C interfaces before deployment.

Suits office mobility not heavy graphics

This ultrabook suits users who need a lightweight 14-inch chassis with quad-core performance for productivity, video calls and multi-monitor desk setups. Buyers who want more storage than 512 GB or require discrete graphics for rendering or gaming should look at something else. The non-touch display and integrated GPU also limit creative workflows needing pen input or GPU acceleration.
