Business ultraportable for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14.0 inch laptop built around an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor running at 1.7 GHz. It ships with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 10 Home comes pre-installed on the 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display.

Verify memory and storage limits before purchase

The system provides 8GB of soldered DDR4 with no spare slots for expansion. The single M.2 NVMe slot holds the included 256GB drive, so larger capacity requires drive replacement. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles video output through the available HDMI and USB Type-C ports.

Sustained workloads stay cool within ultraportable

The low-power U-series chip maintains steady clock speeds during long document, web and video sessions. The compact chassis manages heat without loud fan noise under typical office loads. Battery life supports a full workday away from a power outlet.
