Ready-to-travel business laptop

The Latitude 7490 pairs a quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor at 1.9 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe SSD. A 14.0 inch 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch screen and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handle everyday office workloads. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Verify power and peripheral needs

Confirm the included charger matches your local mains voltage and that the barrel or USB-C connector fits the laptop's power input. Check that your external displays accept HDMI input and that any Thunderbolt 3 docks or devices you plan to use are compatible with the single USB-C port. Ensure your network infrastructure supports Gigabit Ethernet or 802.11ac Wi-Fi for full wired and wireless speed.

Charger and battery included

The supplied charger powers the system and recharges the internal battery for mobile use. No docking station, carry case or additional adapters are bundled, so plan for separate purchases if you need legacy USB-A hubs, DisplayPort cables or a dedicated laptop sleeve. The integrated webcam and microSD reader work without extra drivers.
