Business-ready 14-inch laptop

The Dell Latitude 7490 is a 14-inch notebook built for professional workloads. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and an Intel Core i7 8th Gen processor running at 1.9 GHz. The 32 GB DDR4 memory and 512 GB SSD provide responsive multitasking and fast storage for office applications.

Soldered 32 GB DDR4 limit

The system memory is capped at 32 GB DDR4 across two slots with no further upgrade headroom. Buyers who anticipate heavier virtualisation or large dataset work should note this ceiling before purchasing. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 uses shared system memory for video tasks.

HDMI 1.4 and USB-C video out

The single HDMI 1.4 port and DisplayPort over USB Type-C simplify dual-monitor desk setups without a dock. Three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one with PowerShare, plus Gigabit Ethernet and an SD 4.0 card reader cover common peripherals. Bluetooth 4.1 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi handle wireless connectivity.
